Abstract of the talk
The role of open innovation in creating technology based ventures
” How technology can add value for customers? Answering this question will bring us to an exploration of the role of business models in start-ups. Next, I will show how open innovation – collaborative innovation between several organisations – is applied in large companies and how start-ups can play a crucial role in developing new businesses based on technologies of other organisations or when they need to collaborate with them to bring a product / idea to the market. Finally, I explore the role of innomediaries or supporting organisations such as VCs and TTOs”
