PhD students are required for the project:
Regenerative Medicine Initiative in Cardiac Restoration Therapy
The research will include the isolation, purification and characterization of cardiac extra-cellular matrix scaffolds, for tissue engineering purpose, both by in vitro and in vivo models. This includes using various cell culture techniques in vitro, as well as investigating the suitability of the patch for myocardial regeneration, following myocardial infarction in small and large animal models (rats and porcines).
Must: Master degree in life science (for example: biology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, biomaterials science etc.).
Preferable: experience in working with animals.
Suitable applicants may submit their complete C.V to Dr. Hadar Sarig, MSE, NTU. HSarig@ntu.edu.sg
